Our Space

"The private dining room at Le Bernardin has been completely overhauled since Uma Thurman held her baby shower there three years ago. Now Les Salons has maple coffered ceilings and white slipper chairs, giving it a more contemporary feel than the grand restaurant downstairs."
W Magazine Black Book, August 2001.

Surrounded by etched glass walls, at its full capacity this room can accommodate up to 80 guests.

Our state of the art electronically operated wall dividers, allow Les Salons to configure to various sized rooms.

This is our most intimate setting at Les Salons. It can accommodate up to 16 guest and is ideal for small groups that want to experience our renowned tasting menus.

Our Menu Selections

"Once you've had "the" Le Bernardin experience, you'll be spoiled for life. True four-star cuisine and seamless service make just about every other restaurant experience pale in comparison."
Paper magazine Annual Report 1998.

Our tailored kitchen is designed to cater solely to the private rooms. Whether you are planning a simple breakfast, a business meeting, a wine tasting or an intimate wedding, Les Salons Bernardin can customize the event to your every need.

Since our opening 15 years ago, we have been rated "the best seafood restaurant", however, Les Salons offers an extended menu to accommodate all tastes.

A pre-selected three or four course menu is available for all occasions. In addition, we also have the option to offer choices and a selection of suggested tasting menus are available.

For smaller groups of 15 people or less we offer the A La Carte menu.

The wine list, of over 500 selections, includes many rare Bordeaux and Burgundies as well as a wide range of excellent American and international wines. Our sommelier is available to consult with you on your wine requirements.

How to Plan an Event

"Working with the special events team is an exceptional and easy experience. The team of Le Bernardin transforms a mundane event into an exquisite affair. Service is impeccable and kind."
Sarah Powers, Kobrand.

Here are the steps that will guide you through the planning process.

1. Telephone our event coordinators Monica Cobo or Karin Burroughs by dialing 212-554-1107 to discuss your overall needs.

2. Basic information will be verbally given at this time and if requested a more detailed package with menu and prices will be faxed and the date will be placed temporarily on hold.

3. Although everything can be explained over the phone, we advise you to arrange a visit of Les Salons Bernadin to discuss in more detail how we can configure the room by using our electronically controlled walls.

4. If you come to the decision that we will host your party, a contract will be written and a 50% deposit, by check or credit card will be required upon signing.

5. Since our menu is always based on the freshest products available, we recommend discussing it one week before the event.

6. Once the menu has been chosen, our Sommelier will contact you to help you choose the perfect wine to complement your meal.

7. We’ll work with you to develop a checklist of all the other needs of your event, ranging from audiovisual equipment to flower arrangements by referring you to specialist for each field.
